Currently we give special importance to have bilingual Primary Education schools, but teaching English as a second language continues being a pending issue. It is known that children show much more interest in learning if they feel motivated and involved in what they are doing. That is the reason why English teachers need to use educational resources to promote motivation in teaching English language. This project pretends to prove the viability and the benefits of the tale as a didactic resource, beyond the textbook, for learning English language in Primary Education, through the design and carrying out implementation of an educational intervention.
One of the conclusions drawn from the research is that the use of this resource has a positive effect on the students’ academic performance.
